Persimmon Hills Golf Course

Persimmon Hills Golf Course is a tree-lined 18-hole layout set among the gentle hills of Northwest Tennessee. Originally opened as a nine-hole track in 1965 under the name Weakley County Country Club, it was expanded to its current 18-hole form in 1987. The course plays to 6,300 yards and features Emerald dwarf bermudagrass greens, zoysia and bermudagrass fairways and tees, and bermudagrass roughs. Seven water features, five sand traps, and several elevated greens provide a genuine test for lower-handicap players. Five sets of tees — including the Family Fun Tees — make the course accessible for beginners and casual golfers alike. Wildlife is a regular presence on the course, with deer, turkey, foxes, owls, and insect-eating bats sharing the grounds.
