Paramount Country Club

Paramount Country Club is a private 18-hole course in New City, New York, designed by A.W. Tillinghast and opened in 1918. It stretches to 6,781 yards from the back tees across rolling hills, elevated greens, dog legs, wetlands, and fairway bunkers. The layout closes on a par three at hole 18 — an uncommon Tillinghast choice — while hole 7 plays as the number one handicap hole on the course. The club has hosted the MGA Met Open, MGA Ike Championship, MGA Met Amateur, USGA US Open Qualifier, and USGA US Amateur Four Ball Championship. It appears on Golfweek's Best Classic Courses, Golf Magazine's Best US Private Renovation, and Tom Doak's Confidential Guide. Practice facilities include a driving range, an oversized putting and short game green, an additional short game and sand area, and a professional staff available for club fitting and instruction. The Golf Shop carries current equipment, apparel, and accessories.
