Paragould Country Club

Paragould Country Club is a private 18-hole facility in Paragould, Arkansas, owned and operated by members of the Membership LLC. The course was designed by Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame member Walter "Junie" Dowell of Walnut Ridge, with construction beginning in spring 1966 and the original nine holes opening for play in spring 1969. The layout is carved from the rugged terrain of Crowley's Ridge and follows a saddleback design. Fairways are bermuda grass, while the greens are bent grass — referred to as "007 Bent grass greens" — and feature notable undulation throughout. Practice facilities include a large putting green and a newly designed range tee.
