Palm Aire Country Club (Palms) - Pompano Beach is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Florida, and its history helps explain why. The Palms course was founded in 1959 by George Palmer and Harold Broiler, with a 50-room lodge opening in 1962. That same year, Sam Snead set a course record of 65 here. Since then, the club has hosted the Dixie Amateur, the Florida Open, and the South Florida Classic, a former Web.com Tour event, on multiple occasions. The 18-hole Palms layout plays to 6,944 yards from the back tees at par 72, with five sets of tee decks to suit golfers of all levels. The course has been recently renovated with Tif Eagle, a new hybrid grass, giving the layout a fresh playing surface while preserving its long-standing character.

Rick CMay 18, 2017This course is in horrible condition. The whole course should be considered unplayable. The Tee Box conditions are horrible the fairways are hard as cement the golf carts are dangerous.
