Otsuki Country Club

Otsuki Country Club is a 36-hole hillside course laid out on the southern slopes of Ōgiyama, a hill popular with hikers, in Otsuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. From every hole on the course, Mount Fuji is visible, shifting in angle as you move through the round. Natural woodland of pine, cedar, and cypress runs between holes, supplemented by some 50,000 planted trees, giving each hole a fully separated, parkland-forest character despite the open hillside setting. Fairways are wide and largely flat, with only two blind holes across the entire 36, making for a relaxed, unhurried round. Tee times are spaced at seven-minute intervals, reinforcing that easygoing pace throughout the day.
