Ormskirk Golf Club

Ormskirk Golf Club is a historic parkland course set in the countryside of West Lancashire, England. Originally laid out as a heathland design, it has evolved over more than a century into a course known for its lush fairways and far-reaching views — often described as a hidden gem. The course was designed by Harold Hilton, twice Open Championship winner as an amateur and four-time Amateur Championship winner, who was equally respected as a golfer, course designer, and writer. Two tee options suit different levels of play: the Blue Championship course measures 6,533 yards to an SSS of 72, while the White Members course plays 6,383 yards at SSS 71. The two nines offer contrasting challenges across all 18 holes, calling on a full range of shots from every club in the bag.
