Took over 2 hours to play 9 holes. Booked on golf now but told to wait for 3 - 2balls who were finishing a competition. Eventually told to skip to the 3rd hole where we were pretty much chased down after the 5th hole by a 4 ball (also playing a competition). Clearly using GolfNow as a side earner without really caring about course experience for visitors . Shame that the course is in great nick because I won’t be back.

Lovely course. Looking after it well in winter. Mats to use on fairways to protect it and leaves blown out the way so no losing balls. Greens in great condition. Loved it.

Testing 9 hole challenge. Emphasis on accuracy rather than distance required. Course is very well maintained, excellent greens. Signature hole is the 8th, 220yard Par 3. Good food from Sam's Grill Restaurant and great beverage range. Ormeau Golf Club is one of the oldest course in Ireland. It's exceptional value for money.
