Oriole Golf Club (Margate Executive)

Oriole Golf Club (Margate Executive) is an 18-hole semi-private course in Margate, Florida, designed by Bill Dietch and opened in 1971. Open to the public, it offers several membership classifications and is known for affordable peak-season rates and the best summer rates in Broward County. A major renovation in 2014 reshaped much of the course, introducing Champion Ultra Dwarf greens that have become some of the best putting surfaces in south Florida. The project also repositioned and reshaped the large bunkers surrounding the greens. The greens are small, quick, and feature noticeable movement, making approach precision essential. The layout is fairly open off the tee, but finding the correct side of the fairway is key to setting up scoring opportunities. The par-72 design includes several demanding par-3 holes — the signature 7th plays uphill and stretches to 185 yards from the championship tees. The course suits beginners and intermediate golfers while still offering enough challenge for stronger players.
