Oonuma Kokusai Country Club

Oonuma Kokusai Country Club is a woodland and hillside course set at the foot of Mount Komagatake in Shikabe, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, offering 18 holes that are largely flat through the trees. On the front nine, holes 3 and 4 sit on elevated ground with out-of-bounds to the right, while the remaining holes play flat and relaxed. The back nine raises the stakes at the 10th, where the second shot demands a carry over a river. Water in the form of ponds and streams comes into play on several other holes as well, adding consistent psychological pressure throughout the round.
