Olympia Hills Golf and Event Center

Olympia Hills Golf and Event Center is an 18-hole municipal course in Universal City, Texas, designed by Finger, Dye, Spann Design Group and opened in 2000. It plays between 5,534 and 6,923 yards across naturally undulating topography shaped by man-made mounds, strategic bunkers, live oaks, and native South Texas vegetation. Elevation change is a consistent factor across the layout. Holes 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, and 13 each drop 50 feet or more from tee to green, making distance control and club selection critical on a large portion of the round. Practice options include a full-length driving range with sculpted target greens, a putting green, a 10,000 square-foot short game area with a chipping area and practice sand bunker, and professional instruction. The pro shop sells range balls. The newly remodeled clubhouse includes a banquet room and a restaurant open to the public seven days a week.
