Lovely layout of a course which offers nice scenery around and a few holes giving beautiful scenery for miles on end. The greens were the fastest and truest I’ve yet to play on, fairways were well looked after and even one thing which impressed me which isn’t seen by myself often were the bunkers were very well kept. It has a nice mini range (irons 180 yard max allowance) to use for either practice or warmup and the hotel and bar it has is second to none. The only thing holding me back from the 5 star rating was firstly I found the tee boxes a little disappointing, uneven and lacking some grass on some and although the bar food was good, the restaurant you go for dinner (only pre arranged as I was on a package trip) was a little disappointing, carvery was the only option for food which itself wasn’t the same premium that the hotel itself is. Mostly though would still recommend coming here with the great layout, sports bar (a big shoutout to the great characters of the staff as well) and overall course conditions this course has.

Course was in great condition with some testing fast greens! Can’t wait to play here again.

Very nice course, with each hole different from the previous. Lots of golf groups play the course. Greens despite rainy weather in April in good conditions, fairways sometimes a bit muddy after heavy rain.
