Old North State Club

Old North State Club is a private 18-hole, par-72 course in North Carolina, United States, set along the shores of Badin Lake with steep elevations and contours throughout the layout. Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1991, it was ranked No. 2 Best New Private Course in America by Golf Digest in its inaugural year, and currently sits 10th on the North Carolina Golf Panel's state rankings. At 7,102 yards, the course makes use of the lakeshore terrain. The 18th hole requires players to carry around Badin Lake to reach the green. Practice facilities include a large driving range tee area, a large chipping green, and various target greens. The fully-stocked golf shop is on site. The clubhouse dining room and sunroom look out over Badin Lake, with a casual option available in the parlor. Spacious locker rooms and eight waterfront lodge suites complete the on-site accommodation.
