Ocean Hills Cheongdo Golf Club sits in a mountain basin in Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, surrounded by forest, with a stream running through the layout and pine and maple trees framing the greens. Opened in 2010, the 18-hole course features bentgrass on every hole, keeping the greens green year-round. The two circuits — Valley Course and Creek Course — are designed without steep climbs or descents, yet ponds, streams, and bunkers placed throughout the layout create a flat but demanding test that rewards careful course management. The club sits within 30 minutes of Daegu and under an hour from Busan, making it an accessible destination. The Cheongdo area also offers persimmon and peach produce, the historic Unmunsa Temple, a wine tunnel, and hot springs, giving the trip appeal beyond the round itself.
