Cam UrquhartMay 18, 2023Excellent golf course. Bunkers very difficult. Course management is a must to score well around here.
Chris BirchOctober 26, 2018Greens are immaculate. Fairways too.
Ian JohnsonMay 26, 2018New course absolutely challenging in wind but fun to play. Enjoying the new look for Nudgee (bad rounds make you miss the old courses and greens). Definitely one to make you play more strategic.
Dave SpringerAugust 31, 2016Fair, open and quintessentially QLD. Nudgee sits low on the land and although she's a bit flat there is a lot of fun to be had when its brown and bouncy. There are plenty of holes with a tempting dogleg carry and the roughs are friendly so go ahead, grab the big dog and have a go! Low hitting players can bounce it around nicely with good ground angles and mostly well considered bunkering to keep it interesting. The green complexes are OK and the Bermuda putting surfaces are generally true, sensibly paced and not too grainy. Like most QLD courses, Nudgee really suffers when it has been raining hard and transforms from sub-tropical links into a mosquito infested swamp. There are definitely enough holes to make Nudgee worth playing and it's exciting to consider how good the golf may be when the approved master plan is implemented. Good fun!
