Norwood Hills Country Club (East)

Norwood Hills Country Club (East) hosted the 1948 PGA Championship, giving this private 18-hole layout in Jennings, Missouri one of the more notable tournament records in the region. Designed by Wayne Stiles and opened in 1922, the course plays to a par of 69 across rolling fairways, elevation changes, and undulating greens. Hole 3 stands out as a driving hole where the fairway slopes severely from right to left, demanding precise placement off the tee. Practice facilities are shared across the property and include a driving range with heated bays open year round, three putting greens, a short game area with two target greens, and golf professionals available six days a week for private lessons. The golf shop carries current equipment, accessories, and apparel. A Foresight golf simulator is also on site.
