Rolling fairways and long views define Newport Country Club, an 18-hole, par-72 semi-private course in Newport, Vermont, United States. Designed by Howard Watson and Bradford Caldwell and opened in 1968, the layout stretches to 6,453 yards across terrain that takes in views of Lake Memphremagog, Jay Peak, Willoughby Gap, and South Bay. Hole 15 draws particular attention for its view of South Bay and Jay Peak. The course has been recognized as Best Course in the Kingdom. Golf lessons and clinics are available through PGA Golf Pro Matt Hibbert, as well as Head Golf Professional Justin Bonnett and Jack King, PGA. The pro shop carries Cleveland, Callaway, TaylorMade, and Ping equipment alongside putters and men's and women's clothing. The remodeled clubhouse includes two golf simulators and a country pub with a savory menu.
