Nara Manyo Country Club spreads across 18 holes of rolling hillside terrain within the Yamato Aokagaki Quasi-National Park in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Cedar, pine, and cypress trees line the layout, while strategically placed ponds add both visual character and tactical challenge throughout the round. The Out course plays relatively long but offers wide, flat fairways — the catch being a high number of water hazards that demand careful course management on nearly every hole. The In course introduces more elevation change and a trickier, more cerebral layout, rewarding players who think their way around rather than simply hitting for distance.
