Nagasaki Country Club

Nagasaki Country Club is a 9-hole hillside layout in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, that uses the natural terrain to create a varied but manageable round. The elevation changes are present throughout but never extreme, and accuracy off the tee matters more than raw distance. The course opens with a valley carry and a right dogleg, followed by a 333-yard uphill second hole. Holes 3 and 4 offer flatter ground before the course opens up at the 5th, where views of the East China Sea stretch out across a sharp downhill right slope. The back half continues the elevation drama — the 6th is an uphill par 3, the 7th a flat right-doglegging par 5 separated from the 3rd by a pine grove, the 8th a 100-meter downhill short hole, and the 9th a bold downhill finishing hole with an 80-meter drop in elevation.
