Mountain Glen Golf Club

Mountain Glen Golf Club, a public links course in North Carolina, United States, was designed by George W. Cobb and opened in 1965. The layout plays across open fairways with bent grass greens and incorporates Cranberry Draw as a natural feature. Hole 11, an uphill dog-leg left, is rated one of the best par 4s in Western North Carolina. The course hosts a full calendar of competitions including the Spring Scramble, 2 Man Shootout, Memorial Tournament, Member-Member, Red White and Blue, Mountain Men Senior Invitational, Team Championship, Member-Guest, Fall Captain's Choice, Individual Shoot-out, Tough Day, and the Blue Ridge Women's Invitational. Practice options include a putting green with well-maintained bent grass adjacent to the clubhouse, a separate pitching and short game area with a practice sand bunker, a chipping area below the 10th tee box, and a dedicated driving range. Individual lessons, multiple lesson packages, and year-long coaching programs are available.
