Mount Vernon Country Club

Mount Vernon Country Club is a private 18-hole course in Mount Vernon, Virginia, open since 1961 and designed by Russell Roberts, Ed Ault, and Bill Love. The layout runs from 4,935 to 6,366 yards across forested terrain, with Dogue Creek coming into play on 14 of the 18 holes. The course holds Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Virginia. Practice facilities are extensive: a driving range with 18 hitting stations, Latitude 36 grass tees, and six target greens at 65 to 215 yards; an 8,000 square foot USGA putting green; a 5,500 square foot short game green flanked by fairway grass and two greenside bunkers; and a 3,500 square foot warm-up chipping green. PGA professionals offer private lessons, junior golf camps, and club fittings. The Pro Shop carries ladies', men's, and juniors' apparel, equipment, and full club fitting services. On-course, an At the Turn station provides mid-round snacks and beverages. Sam's Place is an upper-level space overlooking hole 16 and the putting green, and the Barracuda Grill operates poolside in summer.
