Mount Maunganui Golf Club

Mount Maunganui Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole, par-72 course in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, ranked among the best club golf courses in the country. The layout is tree-lined throughout its 18 holes, placing a premium on accurate ball-striking. The course is one of the most-played in Bay of Plenty on Hole19. It has hosted the Mount Junior Open and Junior Strokeplay tournaments. Practice options are strong. The Mount Driving Range offers casual bay bookings at $70 for 55 minutes, and PGA coaches — Jimmy Napier, Mark Brown, Mikayla Brown, and Jason Hunter — provide junior coaching and lessons on site. The clubhouse includes a fully licensed bar open until midnight for events, a pro shop with hire gear covering carts, clubs, trundlers, and shoes, changeroom facilities with free soap and towels, and an outdoor area overlooking the 18th hole. Event and catering facilities were freshly renovated in 2018.
