Mossel Bay Golf Club

Mossel Bay Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 links-style course in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa, stretching to 5,940 metres and designed by Bob Grimsdell, who opened it in 1926. Indian Ocean views are visible from every tee, and the layout features large undulating greens, bunkers, and downhill holes. Hole 17 is a par-5 of 494 metres, played from a high tee above the fairway with the ocean as a backdrop and a three-level undulating green. Practice facilities include a 10-bay driving range spanning 250 metres, a putting green, a chipping green, and golf lessons. The pro shop carries a range of brands, modern attire, and quality equipment. The restaurant overlooks the 18th green and the ocean and serves woodfired pizzas, with two bars on site — one near the halfway house and one in the restaurant.
