Morrinsville Golf Club

Morrinsville Golf Club is an 18-hole course on the edge of town in Morrinsville, Waikato, established over a century ago and deceptively tricky from the first tee. Playing to a par of 69 with six par 3s, the layout appears short but consistently challenges golfers of all levels. The par 4s split between short and tricky or long and demanding, and no two holes share the same character. With only 12 bunkers, the course relies on other tests: uphill and downhill lies, tree and water carries, and sand-based greens with genuine borrow. Conditions shift noticeably between seasons, with firm summer run and little in winter. All 18 holes are set against rural air, river views, and mountain backdrops. Par is rarely broken even by strong players, though the par-69 layout does make shooting one's age a more attainable goal. Conquer Morrinsville and you'll be well prepared for courses anywhere.
