Modena Golf & Country Club is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Emilia-Romagna, and the layout — designed by Bernhard Langer — gives a clear reason why. The 18-hole semi-private course in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, plays across terrain shaped by lakes, bunkers, dog-legs, elevation changes, and trees. Hole 3 runs past a 14th-century tower and an 18th-century chapel with a convent building. Hole 11 is a par 3 with a two-level green set on a peninsula surrounded by water. Hole 13, the longest on the course, is defined by the Tiepido stream and bordering vegetation. Hole 18 closes with a lake right of the fairway and two shots required over water. The course has hosted the 50° Open d'Italia. Practice facilities include fifteen uncovered and ten covered driving range stations — the covered bays have heaters and an indoor game simulator — plus a putting green, pitching green, bunker training areas, and an on-site academy. The clubhouse includes a Ristorante, bar, pro shop, gym, swimming pool open June to September, sauna, and meeting rooms.
