Miyazaki Zaronbai Golf Club

Miyazaki Zaronbai Golf Club is an 18-hole hillside course in Shintomi, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, where the two nines offer distinctly different challenges. The front nine rolls with gentle undulation, each hole separated by woodland. The par-5 2nd plays long, while the par-3 3rd drops slightly downhill to a two-tiered green — leave yourself too much distance and putting becomes a real test. The back nine is more uneven in terrain, and players who fall into a mechanical rhythm will find it hard to post a good score. That said, the frequent downhill approach shots make attacking the course feel natural. The par-3 13th carries a valley, and on the 17th the fairway slopes downward from the second shot onward.
