Designed by Johnny Miller and Fred Bliss, Metropolitan Golf Links is an 18-hole public links course in Oakland, California. The layout moves through heather, native grasses, and wetlands areas, with gentle undulation and bunkers shaping play throughout. Practice options are substantial. The all-grass driving range runs 36 stalls and is open daily from dawn to dusk. A separate short game area includes a main green, practice bunker, and target green, with one-hour rental available. The pro shop carries merchandise and handles range ball sales, and banquet spaces are available on site.
