Mercer County Elks Golf Club

Mercer County Elks Golf Club, a public 18-hole course in Ohio, United States, has been in play since 1960 and ranks as one of the most-played courses in Ohio on Hole19. The layout works through trees, fairway bunkers, fescue, a creek, a pond, waste bunkers, and out-of-bounds to keep every club in the bag honest. Hole 4, known as "The Barn Hole," bends left with a distinctive character all its own. Hole 5 is the toughest of the three par 3s, framed by tall oak trees and bunkers left and right. Hole 8, the longest par 5, brings a creek into play 30 yards short of the green and is guarded by five bunkers. Hole 18 closes into the prevailing west wind. The pro shop is run by PGA Head Professional Kirk Stucke, who also offers instruction on site. The shop carries a wide range of golf equipment and accessories. A driving range is available, with unlimited range balls included with membership. Locker rooms and bag storage round out the on-site amenities.
