Merapi Golf - Cangkringan

Merapi Golf - Cangkringan is a public 18-hole, par-72 course stretching 6,370 metres in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, about 30 minutes from the city of Yogyakarta. It was designed by Thomson, Wolveridge & Perrett. The course sits on hilly, mountainous terrain shaped by volcanic rock, where the cooler highland climate makes for comfortable playing conditions well away from urban heat and pollution. Each hole is individually designed with its own set of challenges, offering a varied and demanding test of club selection throughout the round. The combination of rugged volcanic landscape and mountain scenery makes Merapi Golf - Cangkringan one of the more distinctive courses in Central Java.
