Meadowcreek Golf Course

Meadowcreek Golf Course, a municipal 18-hole layout in Charlottesville, Virginia, opened in 1974 against a backdrop of the Southwest Mountains, oak trees, and dogwood and cherry blossoms. It has earned Best Golf Course in Charlottesville for 2025 and a place on Golf Digest magazine's Best Places to Play. The practice setup includes a driving range with Bermuda grass and synthetic turf mats (grass during prime season, mats only on Mondays and Tuesdays), a putting green, and chipping and pitching areas. Instruction options cover private lessons in one- or two-student packages, Golf Instruction 101, Golf Instruction 201, a Get the Rust Off clinic, and a Junior Golf Academy. The pro shop carries name-brand apparel, equipment, and accessories, with special orders and gift certificates available; rental clubs are available on request. The Creekside Cafe serves snacks and treats, open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Meadowcreek Golf Course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Virginia.
