Matoa Nasional Golf Course is the realization of a long-held vision to create golf in complete harmony with its natural surroundings, located in South Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. Designed to championship standards by B. Hasan, B. Santoso and Associates — with input from Thompson, Wolveridge & Perret — the 18-hole layout reflects the best of traditional golf design set within the natural splendor of the tropics. The course spreads across 60 hectares rich with exotic trees and plants. A defining feature of Matoa is its role as an arboretum: the course serves as a conservation and preservation area for rare and endangered tree and plant species, which line the fairways and frame the greens throughout the round.
