Manasquan River Golf Club

Manasquan River Golf Club, a private 18-hole course in Brielle, New Jersey, was designed by Robert White and opened in 1923. The layout moves through rolling hills, swampy meadowlands, woodlands, laurel-laden ravines, and waterfront property along the Manasquan River. Two holes stand out for their length and the obstacles they impose. The par-five 7th stretches nearly 660 yards, requiring a 220-yard drive to carry a vegetation-filled ravine and a 280-yard drive to reach the rising fairway beyond. The par-four 16th runs nearly 465 yards, with a 240-yard drive past a waste bunker followed by a 180–220 yard approach over a Manasquan River tributary to the green. The club has been recognized as one of the outstanding ten golf courses in the State of New Jersey.
