Manakiki Golf Course

Manakiki Golf Course is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Ohio, set across 200 acres of tree-lined fairways in Willoughby Hills. Its name is believed to derive from a Native American word for maple forest, a fitting tribute to the maples that line the course throughout. The land was originally the summer estate of Howard Hanna, a prominent Cleveland industrialist, before a group from the Willowick Club acquired it and converted the property into a country club. The Hanna Mansion was expanded into a clubhouse, and while the east wing was lost to fire and deterioration in 1963, the west wing has since been renovated to preserve its history and structural integrity.
