Magnolia Green Golf Club

Rated one of the most-played courses in Virginia on Hole19, Magnolia Green Golf Club draws consistent attention from golfers across the state. The 18-hole resort course opened in 2015, designed by Nicklaus Design in association with Tom Clark, and earned a place on Golf Digest's Top 10 Best New Courses for 2015. The layout moves across undulating terrain with elevation changes, wide-open Bermuda-grass fairways, streams, and native shrubs and grasses. The closing hole, a mid-length par-4, offers a receptive landing area before a heavily protected green that slopes from back to front. Practice facilities include a driving range with grass and artificial teeing surfaces, two putting greens, a sand trap short-game area, and the Magnolia Green Golf Academy offering private and group lessons with a Director of Instruction on site. The 15,000-square-foot Craftsman-style clubhouse houses The Grille, which seats over 200 people and serves fresh simple food and creative cocktails. The golf shop carries equipment and merchandise from Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Srixon, and XXIO. The facility is wheelchair friendly.
