Lowes Park Golf Club

Lowes Park Golf Club is a semi-private moorland course in Bury, England, opened in 1915 and designed by Peter Alliss. The layout plays across hills and valleys, with doglegs, sloping fairways, bunkers, pot bunkers, and a pond shaping the nine holes throughout. Several holes stand out for their individual character. The opening hole carries out of bounds all the way down the left and a copse of trees on the right, demanding an accurate tee shot from the start. Hole 4 is a right-hand dogleg par 5 of around 530 yards, reachable in two for longer hitters. Hole 5, rated the hardest on the card, plays as a par 4 for men and a par 5 for ladies, with a slight dogleg to the left. The club has hosted the M&DGA BMW Junior Knockout Trophy. A short game practice area and putting green are available on site. The clubhouse bar stocks merchandise in association with RR Golf.
