Lopesan Meloneras Golf hosted the 2007 Spanish PGA Championship just one year after opening, a notable early milestone for a resort course in the Canary Islands, Spain. Designed by Ron Kirby and opened in 2006, the 18-hole layout plays across terrain shaped by volcanic mountains, rocky coastline, and palm trees, with the Atlantic Ocean as a constant backdrop. The course is rated 4.8 by 100+ Hole19 golfers. Practice options include a dedicated driving range and the Meloneras Golf Academy, staffed by a qualified and experienced golf instructor. The clubhouse restaurant, located next to the Pro Shop, covers everything from a pre-round snack to post-round cocktails and food. The Pro Shop stocks Adidas and TaylorMade apparel and equipment alongside gifts and souvenirs. Valet service is also available.
