Longcliffe Golf Club

Longcliffe Golf Club is an 18-hole heathland course in Charnwood Forest, England, designed by Tom Williamson and opened in 1906. Tree-lined fairways run through birch, oak and pine woodland, with heather and gorse defining the rough throughout. The short 15th hole, added in 1986, sharpened both the visual character and the playing characteristics of the layout. A recently opened golf range supports preparation before a round, and a Junior Golf Academy led by PGA qualified Professional Ed Martin caters to beginners through advanced players. The clubhouse includes a bar with televisions, free WiFi, and an extensive range of conditioned beers, drinks and food, with hot and cold snacks served throughout the day. A restaurant serves lunches and evening meals, with Sunday lunches available on most Sundays.
