I give 4.7 stars out 5 Greens are very very good, really running fast. Some of the areas on the fairways were worn, however I noticed there was a lot of G.U.R. going on at the moment. This patchiness was the only fault. During the day we stopped for a cold can of Doom Bar Beer at the halfway house. I noticed that there was always really good choice of drinks/snacks. Served with a friendly smiling face. This Halfway Hut had everything you need, one being manned, two being open which is always appreciated. So many courses in the area they aren’t open at all. Parts of the back 9 there was a lot of patchy sandy lies around, not especially good result after what you thought was going to be a good lie after a great tee shot landing in the fairway. This prevented you gaining an extra 15 - 20 yards off the Driver tee - shot.
