Lakewood on the Green

Lakewood on the Green is a scenic 18-hole course in Michigan, playing nearly 6,100 yards from the blue tees across a layout of four par-3s, twelve par-4s, and two par-5s for a total par of 70. The course was built over seven years by father-and-son team Norm and Pete Smith, opening in 1980. By 1985, it had earned recognition as Michigan's prettiest nine-hole golf course in The Wedge, a National Golf Foundation Market Report. After operating under different names and ownership over the years, the property returned to its original name in spring 2013. Gently rolling fairways, strategic bunkers, and shoreline from a 15-acre lake define the character of the round. In summer, the property also offers nature trails, boating, biking, sailing, fishing, swimming, and hunting.
