Lake Toxaway Country Club

Kris Spence designed this 18-hole private course at Lake Toxaway Country Club, set among the hills and valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. The layout moves through varied elevation across that mountain terrain, and the Golf Pro Shop — a stand-alone building with swing analysis and training programs — sits with convenient access to all clubhouse facilities. The Fazio Learning Center adds a 20-acre practice venue, backed by one-on-one lessons and clinics from PGA professional staff for adults and children. The Firestone Bar & Grille serves as the clubhouse restaurant, with a casual grille area, covered dining porch, and an expansive indoor and outdoor bar with sweeping mountain and golf course views. The club earned the 2018 Golden Fork Club award from Golf Inc. Magazine in the Most Improved Private Club Restaurant category.
