Lake Kezar Country Club

Lake Kezar Country Club, a Donald Ross design that opened in 1923, is a semi-private 18-hole, par-72 course in Lovell, Maine. The layout winds through classic New England terrain — brooks, ponds, stonewalls, and Eastern white pines defining the character throughout the round. The course has been rated the number one golf value in New England by the New England Golf Guide for the past five years. Hole19 golfers back that up with a strong rating on the platform. The pro shop carries a modest selection of apparel, hats, gloves, and balls, along with a snack counter serving Maine Red Hotdogs and cold beverages. The clubhouse includes a screened porch with rocking chairs and a stone fireplace with pellet stove. Club rentals are available for men, ladies, and children. A Junior Golf program runs for three weeks each July on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, covering putting, driving, and golf etiquette for ages 5 to 15.
