La Faisanera Golf

La Faisanera Golf, a semi-private 18-hole course in Castile and León, Spain, was designed by José María Olazábal and José Luis Bastarreche. The layout features lakes, streams, bunkers, elevated tees, and white elm trees throughout the property. Several holes stand out for their character. The opening hole is a par 5 where a stream crosses the fairway and bunkers protect the green. Hole 10 is a par 3 with a frontal lake and views of Peñalara mountain. Hole 17 is a par 3 surrounded by a lake on the left. The closing hole is a par 5 defined by a serpentine stream and six bunkers lining the fairway. Rated 4.4 by 100+ Hole19 golfers, it is one of the most-played courses in Castile and León on Hole19. Practice facilities include a driving range of more than 30,000 m² with 40 positions (25 covered), a putting green cut to match course greens, a short game and bunker area, and a golf school with qualified instructors offering individual, group, and children's courses. The restaurant serves traditional dishes including roasted suckling pig, Castilian meats, seasonal vegetables, homemade desserts, and Ribera de Duero wines. A pro shop carries equipment and personalized merchandise.
