Description
La Cala Resort Campo America (North) is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in Andalusia, Spain, designed by Cabell B. Robinson. The course plays across hilly topography with steep brush-covered side slopes, wide linked fairways, and small raised greens. Hole 1 sets the tone with a steep drop to the fairway below. Hole 9 is a par 5 where a large lake guards the green, and hole 16 is a short par 3 with a lake protecting the front of the green. The course has appeared in Golf World's Top 100 Courses rankings for both Spain and Continental Europe, and has hosted the La Cala Golf World Open. Rated 4.5 by 200+ Hole19 golfers. The resort's golf shop carries brands including Adidas, FootJoy, Ralph Lauren, Peter Millar, Travis Mathew, Ecco, Titleist, TaylorMade, and Mizuno fitting centres. Edwin BijlsmaApril 19, 2025What a strange course. Up and down only. You need to be Max Verstappen to have the buggy safely managed. Not a course for high handicap. Course was given the GF poor maintained. Bar restaurant are okay. Altogether overrated course (America).
