Kokyu Country Club

Kokyu Country Club is a hillside layout in Tondabayashi, Osaka Prefecture, playing over relatively flat terrain across 18 holes. Originally built with 27 holes, the course underwent a major redesign in 1975, reducing to its current configuration while stretching hole distances and widening fairways throughout. Despite those changes, overall yardage remains on the shorter side, which makes scoring more manageable. That said, the course rewards precision — ball position off the tee influences lie and approach angle, adding variety to what might otherwise feel straightforward. The front nine in particular features several carries over water and valleys, where mistakes translate directly into dropped shots.
