Klosterfjordens Golfklubb

Klosterfjordens Golfklubb is an 18-hole course in Halland County, Sweden, that looks flat at first glance but reveals plenty of challenge and variety once you are out on the fairways. Designed by architect Rune Synnelius, the layout features elevation changes, wind exposure, rough bushes, and bunkers that keep every round interesting. Synnelius drew inspiration from fast American-style greens, and the results show — the well-maintained putting surfaces are quick enough to turn a straightforward putt into a real test. Many golfers find them the most demanding feature on the course. Hole lengths vary considerably, giving the round a good rhythm. On a windy day even the longest hitters will struggle, which levels the playing field and can give less experienced players a genuine shot at a competitive match.
