Description

Kirkcaldy Golf Club sits in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and is open as a parkland course designed by Old Tom Morris across 18 holes. The layout works through woodland and along the Tiel Burn, with holes 7 and 8 set in a narrow gully that follows the burn. Holes 4 and 5 cut into the land in a way that means they rarely play the same twice. Hole 17 is noted as scenic enough to have inspired imitations at other courses. Views over the Firth of Forth add to the setting. With Old Tom Morris's design and terrain that shifts noticeably between holes, Kirkcaldy Golf Club rewards more than one visit.

A good course greens not bad some tight holes where you need to be straight or else some holes hairy around greens

Original design by Old Tom Morris, this is a great parkland course. The 7th, 8th and 9th can wreck a good scorecard if you are wayward!

Easy course when not played in wind like I did. In retrospect I should have played from white. Good condition nice walk easy to find the balls when off fairway. Hospitality gets highest score.
