Description
Rated one of the most-played courses in Manitoba on Hole19, Kingswood Golf & Country Club in La Salle, Manitoba, Canada draws consistent traffic for good reason. Opened in 1987, this semi-private, par-71 links-style layout runs 18 holes across terrain shaped by the La Salle River, sculpted ponds, bush, and bunkers. The river comes into play on two signature holes: hole 8 is a par 3 that carries directly over the water, and hole 17 crosses back over it to a green that demands respect. Hole 18 closes with fairway bunkers leading to an island green. The course has hosted the Bryan Trottier Celebrity Golf Classic, the 3rd Annual Bill Houston Pro Am, Golf 4 Project 11, and the Superintendent's Revenge Golf Tournament. Lessons are available through the Pro Shop (1-204-736-4079). Fairways Restaurant and Lounge is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am and Friday through Sunday from 9:00am, with takeout available. The clubhouse also includes a 250-person Banquet Hall with in-house wedding services and a wedding coordinator.
