King Naga Golf Club

King Naga Golf Club, formerly known as Rayong Country Club, is an 18-hole course in Mae Nam Khu, Chon Buri, Thailand with a flat, links-style character and virtually no water hazards — despite sitting just 700 yards from the Dok Krai Reservoir. Nick Faldo's design compensates with an extraordinary density of sand. The course features 120 bunkers in total, the majority positioned in fairway landing areas to punish wayward tee shots, with additional bunkers guarding the greens. The par-5 18th hole illustrates the challenge well. At 593 yards, it carries 16 bunkers alone — four clustered in the landing zone at 264 yards from the back tee, and nine more cutting across the fairway at 415 yards out.
