Kimberley Golf Club

Kimberley Golf Club is one of the most-played courses in Northern Cape on Hole19, rated 4.1 by Hole19 golfers, and it earns that standing with a layout that suits players of all levels. The course shifts character with the seasons — lush and green in summer, with the ball holding on approach, and firm and fast in winter, when the ball runs freely across the frosted turf. Both versions are genuinely player friendly. Every October, around 600 golfers gather here for the Barney Barnato Festival of Golf, Ribald and Revelry, a long-running event that speaks to the club's strong social character. The 19th hole lives up to its reputation year-round. Kimberley sits in the heart of South Africa but remains relatively isolated, so visiting golfers are especially welcome.
