Great course , open fairways, but tricky greens .

Good course, interesting & you need to think you’re way round. Greens are generally small & can be tricky to read - good challenge though. Driving range was apparently closed but as we came down 16th there were three idiots smacking balls all over the place. One landed two yards off us & no warning shout. Didn’t spoil the day but if the club can’t manage the range, or the idiots who might use it, then it’s simply dangerous. Given the range is adjacent to 16 & 18 I’d suggest shutting it completely (but it’s a good earner) or monitoring who uses it & how.
