Kaakon Golf

Kaakon Golf is a 9-hole course in Kymenlaakso, Finland, designed by Lassi-Pekka Tiilander and built by Greenform Oy, known for constructing some of Finland's finest courses. It sits in a naturally beautiful setting where every hole has its own individual character. From the back tees the course stretches 2,700 metres, with the forward tees positioned an average of 60 metres closer to the greens. The toughest hole is the fourth, a 507-metre par five. All three par-3s are regarded among the best of their kind in Finland. The standout hole is the seventh, which follows the curving bank of a river. The tee shot is played from an ancient conifer forest on a spot known as Tiilikkalan Satuvuori, making it one of the most distinctive opening shots on the course.
